NATIONAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

In this regard following actions have been taken-

1. Organizing the awareness sessions on the impact of climate change during the period of one year 8 awareness sessions at community level organized in which gram sabha based discussions were organized in which more than 120 participants participated.
2. Creating streams sustainable to drought and other climate issues-During the period one spring under the hilly areas of Boarijore sustained with boulder bunds to enhance its free-flowing periods to support the community for agriculture and drinking water.
3. Forest area protection-With support of the local baisi and gram sabha 32 acres of forest area were preserved to restrict the destruction due to external efforts.
4. Initiating organic farming -Through the efforts of the community 45 vermin-compost-beds have been created at the community level to support the local POSHAN WATIKA and other BARI land cropping.
