DISASTER RESPONSE AGAINST COVID

In this regard following actions have been undertaken-

 

  1. To protect the animals and the pets in the PVTGs area 20 grassland created for the cattle to save and protect their lives. Nearly 2000 cattle and other pets were protected through these initiatives.
  2. Nearly 20000 PVTGs families were fed continuously during lockdown situations from March-May 2020 to protect them from hunger and related atrocities.
  3. 12 govt quarantine centers have been supported. In this regard, 7000 persons who migrated from various places and reached the district were supported to a great extent.
  4. At the community level, more than 6000 families have been supported with dry ration, hand sanitizers, masks along with other essential materials for longer periods.
  5. More than 3000 children and adolescents are continuously supported through running nutrition and education centers in which education and nutrition support have been provided simultaneously.
  6. 300 or more selected families have been provided with proper seeds and agriculture support to continue the agriculture in post covid lockdown situations.
